Born from a conviction
Ethica began with a simple conviction: what we wear matters as much as how it's made.
At a time when much of textile production was gradually leaving the country, we chose to preserve and evolve local craftsmanship. That choice reflects what we believe: making products close to home helps us control quality, reduce our environmental footprint, and create lasting jobs in our communities. Ethica is our way of showing that it is still possible to make apparel here, with pride.
Materials chosen with intention
The styles in our collection include responsible fibers such as organic cotton, GRS-certified recycled polyester, and recycled cotton.
These materials help reduce the use of virgin resources, lower the environmental footprint of our products, and give existing materials a second life. Recycled polyester, for example, keeps several plastic bottles out of landfills.
But doing better should never come at the expense of the product. That is why our fabrics are selected first for comfort, softness, structure, and durability, so we can create apparel people genuinely want to wear for a long time.
Manufacturing that means something
Choosing Ethica also means supporting local manufacturing that creates a positive impact right here. Every Ethica product is designed, made, and decorated in Canada.
We believe the future of textiles depends as much on innovation as on the people who bring it to life. That is why we invest in modern, safe, and engaging work environments where employees can develop their expertise and build their future. Our Canadian factories are unionized, a choice that reflects our commitment to fair working conditions and lasting jobs in our communities.
Innovating to do better
Responsibility does not rest on one initiative, but on many concrete improvements. We continuously work to reduce our impact through innovations such as low-cure inks, water-based printing processes, no-dye fabrics, and the upcycling of textile scraps.
We aim to raise the standards of our industry, one garment at a time.
