Attraction Inc. protects the personal information entrusted to us through our websites, forms, communications, catalog requests, distributor conversations, and customer service interactions. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who may receive it, and how you can exercise your rights.

This policy applies to attraction.com and the Attraction website experience. Third-party platforms we link to, including social networks, AI assistants, distributor sites, and Studio platforms, may have their own privacy notices.

What we collect

We collect only the personal information needed for the purposes described below.

  • Identity and contact details, such as your name, organization, role, email address, phone number, mailing address, and preferred language.
  • Project and business details you choose to share, such as product interests, quantities, deadlines, market, decoration needs, artwork notes, distributor or agent requests, and message content.
  • Newsletter and marketing preferences, including subscriptions, consent status, unsubscribe choices, and email engagement where available.
  • Website and device information, such as IP address, approximate location, browser, device type, pages viewed, referral source, search terms, language choice, region preference, and cookie or consent preferences.
  • Account or access information when a protected resource is used, such as session cookies used to keep a resource-access experience working.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless you choose to include it in a message or file. Please avoid sending information that is not needed for your request.

Why we use it

We use personal information to:

  • respond to inquiries, quote requests, catalog requests, distributor requests, and customer service messages;
  • understand project needs and route requests to the right internal team, agent, distributor, or service provider;
  • operate, secure, debug, and improve the website;
  • personalize language, region, and resource-access preferences;
  • send newsletters, offers, product updates, or event information when you have subscribed or otherwise consented;
  • measure website performance and marketing effectiveness when analytics or advertising cookies are enabled;
  • comply with legal, accounting, security, and recordkeeping obligations.

We rely on consent where required, including for newsletters and optional cookies. We may also process information when it is needed to respond to your request, perform a contract, protect the website, meet a legal obligation, or pursue a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use essential cookies to remember choices, keep protected resources available, prevent abuse, and operate the site. Optional analytics, advertising, video, map, or social-media technologies may collect additional information only when enabled or where permitted by law.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if essential cookies are blocked.

Sharing personal information

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with:

  • service providers that host the site, send email, manage forms, provide analytics, secure systems, support customer communications, or help operate business tools;
  • agents, distributors, decorators, logistics partners, or other partners when needed to respond to your request or complete a project;
  • professional advisors, insurers, auditors, or authorities where required for legal, security, accounting, or compliance reasons;
  • another organization if Attraction is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Some providers may process information outside Quebec, Canada, or your state. When this happens, we use contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and the service involved.

Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required for legal, accounting, security, backup, dispute, or business-continuity reasons. Website form inquiries are generally kept for up to one year unless they become part of an active customer, distributor, supplier, or project record.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, loss, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we review safeguards as our systems and risks evolve.

If a confidentiality incident creates a real risk of significant harm, we will take the steps required by applicable law, including notification where required.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and the nature of the information, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, withdraw consent, restrict or object to certain uses, request information about automated processing, or ask for a copy of information you provided. United States residents may have additional privacy rights under state law.

We do not use personal information from the website to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message. You can also contact us to make a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Children

The website is intended for business users and the general public, not for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where required.
